Truelux Lotion Candles are made to melt into a hydrating lotion that is just above body temperature. They are made with cosmetic grade soy and shea butter with natural fragrances so they are great for refreshing the air of your home and rejuvenating your skin.
To use these candles, light them and let them melt until you see some liquid on the surface of the candle. Then blow out the flame and dip your hands right in. Don't worry about the wax burning your skin, it is created to melt at just 2 degrees above body temperature. It'll feel great and will last a long time.
Our candles are designed to last up to 60 hours of burn time with proper care. Make sure the wick is trimmed to 1/4 inch before lighting, and don't let the burned wick drop into the wax.
We ship from Des Moines, Iowa with our preferred carrier, United States Postal Service.
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
For calculated shipping rates: Current shipping charges are a flat rate of $10 for your order and will be displayed at checkout.
Local Delivery
At this time we do not offer local delivery service.
In-store Pickup
You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our showroom at Elevator Spaces in Downtown Des Moines. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1 to 2 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
In-store pickup hours are 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Monday through Friday at Elevator Spaces located at 204 12t Street, Des Moines, IA 50309. Enter on the east side of the building and your order will be waiting at the reception area. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.
International Shipping
We do not offer international shipping on orders.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 7 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@momere.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges

We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery for online purchases if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return..
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at hello@momere.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
